Rich Hoagland - Co-Founder & Construction Management

Rich manages project scoping, planning and management. Before co-founding Highline Homes, Rich spent over 15 years as a construction project manager building custom homes on Chicago's north side. His experience comes from as far back as working as a carpenter in high school through long stints as project manager at Savane Properties and Impressionist Homes in the Lincoln Park area. 

When he is not working, Rich enjoys spending time with his growing family and perfecting his grilling technique. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Saint Lawrence University.

Jim McCormick - Co-Founder & Business Management

Jim manages the business finances and contracts. Although his jobsite presence is limited, he ensures that expectations are clear between clients, sub-contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. 

 

His background spans 25 years in management and technology consulting. After a couple years of retirement, Jim joined Rich to establish Highline Homes. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Systems Strategy & Management from Northwestern University.
